Cricket at the John Fisher School

Cricket at John Fisher is a huge part of the Summer Term here. All students are encouraged to participate, regardless of their level of experience. With both A and B teams playing in competitive fixtures against some of the best Cricketing schools in the country, we ensure that every individual has the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for the game in an inclusive environment.

We have fantastic Cricket facilities, featuring four indoor nets for year-round practice and two outdoor nets for optimal summer training. Additionally, our meticulously maintained cricket squares, including an Astro-Turf wicket, provide the perfect setting for competitive matches and skill development.

Beyond the physical aspects of the game, cricket at John Fisher imparts essential life lessons. Through the values of patience, teamwork, attention to detail, and decision-making, students learn valuable skills that extend far beyond the cricket pitch and into their academic and personal lives.
