The John Fisher School offers its students a range of opportunities to continue their personal development outside of the curriculum. Whether it be playing an instrument or singing in the choir, performing in a drama production, playing a sport, embarking on residential trip or joining a society or club, there is something for everyone.
Sports
The PE department run a number of competitive and non-competitive activities for students throughout the year. Students have the privilege of representing one of the best sporting state schools in the country and will compete against many of the top private schools. Recreationally, students can engage in a number of activities that include joining the gym, playing table tennis at lunch times and going climbing.

Music
Students at The John Fisher School are offered a wide range of enrichment activities by the Music department. The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the Choir, which has a national reputation for excellence. Additionally, students perform in various orchestras and are given the opportunity to undertake music lessons delivered by peripatetic teachers.
