The 42nd edition of the John Fisher Founder's Day Tournament was blessed with great weather, and equally good rugby. 

The round robin stages were hotly contested with 3 groups having to be decided by points scored. John Fisher finished runners up in their group and were joined in the Plate knock outs by Campion, Whitgift and Abingdon. Having successfully negotiated their semi finals, Abingdon beat Whitgift in the final.

The four group winners - RGS Guildford, Brighton College, St Joseph's and Hampton - contested the main compeition. Hampton proved too strong, comfortably beating Brighton College 52-12 in the final.
