The summer term has started and this marks the beginning of Cricket and Athletics. As the rain comes and goes, all year groups have been in action against some of the best local cricketing schools. The new Head of Cricket, Mr. K. Tomlinson , said , "I am very excited for this season. A time when we are really putting in the foundations to build the Cricket up over the next couple of years. We have A and B teams in each year, and have seen some great performances already from the students.'. Highlights so far include... Year 7 have had lots of fun, with cricket on the field every Friday lunch time for all students to play games. What a sight that is! The 1st XI continue to blood younger players alongside the Year 12/13's and the future certainly looks bright in the lower school. As Athletics gets going, a busy term of sport is, no doubt, ahead.
