The 2015 School Fete, on its traditional early May Bank Holiday, was once again a perfect way to shake off the winter cobwebs and to prepare for a glorious summer ahead. With lots of traditional attractions, and some new ones, the fine spring weather brought thousands of visitors to our school for stalls, music, dancing, food & drink, and much more. Now established as a regular feature of the day, the dog show attracted the largest audiences of the event, with proud owners displaying their pets off to perfection.
Many thanks to the fete committee of the John Fisher Association who, once again, worked tirelessly to ensure that this years fete was a great success - despite the storm on Sunday afternoon which wrecked many of the marquees which had been set up by the volunteers on Saturday morning. Particular thanks to Siobain Clancy, Phil Quartly and Jef Gager for their leadership and tireless hard work over many months, and to Mike Simpson who coordinated the staff and pupil contribution.
